How To Lose Those Love Handles
How attached are you to your love handles? We’re willing to bet that you do not love your love handles at all. In fact, we are willing to bet that you actively dislike the extra weight that you are carrying around. Love handles are uncomfortable. Depending on how quickly they are growing they can also be quite itchy and painful. Thankfully there is no rule or law that says you have to keep that extra weight hanging on your body. There are multiple options available to help you deal with your love handles. You can also find ways to lose them all together. We have gathered some of these helpful tips together for you.
Move around. Walking around the block, for example, can be healthy. If you are loathe to leave your house, why not invest in a treadmill? You can walk in front of your television set if you like. Dancing to your favorite music is another option. Whatever you choose do to just make sure that you are active. You won’t lose any weight sitting around. Truth be told, you will just gain more weight sitting around. The last thing you want is for your love handles to get bigger, right?
Another helpful tip is to practice proper posture. Burn calories by standing straight and sitting up correctly all day. Burn calories when you expend this energy. Sitting up straight can be a form of exercise if you aren’t use to it. In addition to helping you burn calories, practicing proper posture can help reduce the appearance of the love handles that you are carrying around. ~~This is especially true when you are walking around. Proper posture can also help you to look better. Because slouching can actually make your love handles worse.
Another helpful practice is to keep a journal. It might feel like a giant annoyance to write down all of the exercise you do and all of the food you eat. In the long run though, it can really help you find balance in your lifestyle. Knowing what you have eaten will help you determine how many calories you need to burn. However if you find you are eating well and exercising and you don’t see your love handles shrinking, you can show your journal to your doctor for further advice. Your doctor can better help you find a proper routine if they are fully aware of your lifestyle.
Finding the right solution to your love handle problem doesn’t have to be hard. With a few lifestyle changes, you may see them disappear completely. Be patient though, it will take time for this to happen. With the proper diet and exercise program, however, those love handles should become a thing of the past pretty quickly. Focus on fitting into those skinny jeans with no overlap!
