Soundtracks In TV Shows
There have been some cracking tunes on our screens through the years when we have sat down to watch our favourite television shows but what are the best ones out there and is it because they have used any instrument like guitars in particular or just because they are great theme songs?
The A Team
This is one of the most recognised tunes in television history without a doubt. This one combined drum kits and outrageous guitar playing to make it one of the most loved themes ever, they are actually trying to remake a film for this that is released this year. Without any of the original cast members being involved this movie is surely going to suck.
The Saint
If you haven’t heard the saint tune then listen to it? Although Moore had been in other things this is the show that kick started the career as his character was a lot like Bond’s. There are not many people out there that actually know exactly when Roger Moore was approached for the role of Bond, some say it was when Dr No was in talks. We do know for sure that he was approached many a time during the filming of The Saint.
Hawaii 5-O
This has to be my favourite television theme song of all time. Tweleve seasons is how long it went on for, truly amazing. Jack Lord was of course the main guy of the seasons but the music is what really marked what was going on in the house. Whenever this tune was on I remember always having a bit of a dance to it.
So what makes these theme songs so brilliant? It has to be a combination of everything from guitar amplifiers to the genius creators behind the pieces of music themselves. If you haven’t heard any of these then give them a listen too!
